| Subscription Plan Price Increase from Best Software |

With the much-anticipated release of version 4.0 for
MAS 90/200, Best will increase the prices of
General Ledger and Library Master to reflect the
extensive added value that will be available with these
modules, in order to remain competitive and to allow
Best to continue to make significant investments each
year in improving and enhancing the product.
For existing Best Software customers, this will only
increase their Subscription Plans by a total of $60
annually (General Ledger $50, Library Master $10). New
pricing goes into effect as of October 1st.

| Tech Tip: Attention RMA Users! |
|
Note to those who have purchased the RMA module:
On version 3.71 of MAS90/200 the Customer
Delete/Renumber/Merge utility does not renumber
customers in every file. The problem shows up when
you try to use the RMA Inquiry, which is located in
Customer Maintenance/Inquiry on the History
tab. If you are not using the RMA module, this will
not affect your software. If you are using the RMA
module on version
3.71, you can download patch AR3085-T from the
support section of the Best website. If you do not
have a user account for the Best site, you can contact
our support department for help.

Retirement of Import Master/
Discount on Visual Integrator Upgrade |

With the pending release of MAS 90/200 Version 4.0,
Best Software will retire the Import Master
module. Back in November 1998, Best released the
Visual Integrator module in MAS 90/200 Version 3.3. At
that
time, Best discontinued new sales of Import Master,
but continued shipping it on current CDs and
maintaining it for existing customers. With the
upcoming 4.0 release, Import Master will no longer be
maintained or shipped on product CDs.
DataWest encourages customers that currently use
Import Master to upgrade to Visual Integrator (VI) prior
to the release of MAS 90/200 Version 4.0. To
make it easier for them to upgrade, we are offering a 20
percent discount on top of the already discounted
upgrade price. Please contact our sales department
