| Help Desk: Copied Sales Orders Not Appearing on Sales Order Inquiry tab of Inventory Management |

If a sales order is created in Sales Order entry using
the "Copy From" feature, it will not show in part of
inventory. Once the order is created in this manner, go
to Inventory Management or Inventory Inquiry and look
on the Inquiry tab for Sales Orders. You will not see
your order. Best Software has released a patch for
this problem on the support section of their web site.
This problem is occurring only on version 3.71 of MAS
90/200. If you have access to Best's support section
(BOSS), you will want to download patch SO3113-T. If
you need help accessing this patch, please call our
support department at 800.613.6350.

| Tech Tip:Adding Shortcuts to the MAS90/200 Menu Bar |

Occasionally clients would like to add shortcuts to
their menu bar of MAS 90/200 so they are just a click
away from their most often used programs and tasks.
Within MAS, you can add both shortcuts to MAS tasks
or external programs such as Excel, Word, or Internet
Explorer. To add a shortcut, launch into MAS and go
to "View" on the menu bar. From the drop down list,
choose "Toolbars" and then "Customize". From this
window, click on the "Custom Buttons" tab. From
there, you can click "New Task" to add a MAS 90/200
task or new program to add an external program as a
shortcut. This is a great way to access all your most
frequently-used applications in a snap.

| Role-Based Security in MAS 90/200 |

One feature that MAS 90/200 users have been longing
for will now be addressed in Version 4.0: the need for
role-based security. Roles will now be able to be
assigned to individual users, instead of groups, making
maintenance of security much easier. Read on for
